Lee Konecke's Mindfulness Meditation class last Wednesday has been extremely helpful even after just one session. His simple and easy suggestions helped me to understand some of the common issues that had been popping up during my own previous efforts at meditation. This is not to say that after the class I was magically transformed and could meditate for hours. Rather, his explanations and tips have helped me to begin to understand the Mindfulness approach to meditation, which has helped me to continue to relax instead of becoming frustrated and judgmental when my mind starts to drift back to its inner dialogue. I have also found myself incorporating these same tips into my yoga practice, which has helped me in relaxing my mind during difficult and tiring poses rather than focusing on how hard they are! --Scott
