The New Year's Eve Evening of Awakening, Tantra Puja Ritual was a magical evening indeed. The Blue Moon was full and rare as were the people who joined us. Full of wonder, openness, and so much love.
There was a nice blend of 32 new and familiar faces this evening. Ages ranging from mid 20's to late 40's. A beautiful rainbow of ethnicities.
The evening began with one of the gentlemen gifting us with his singing brass bowls. What a sensory delight! He offered us each an intimate moment with the bowls as he walked around the room playing this sweet instrument as Charu guided us into a grounding exercise.
We then moved into some very interactive group work with a lot of verbal sharing, physical movement, and light touch. Charu was very mindful of incorporating exercises that would "shed the old and create space for bringing in the new". Expressing outloud the changes we want, embracing another like minded human being and dancing together as the clock struck midnight, felt very potent.
The evening was topped off with delicious Vegetarian treats, chocolate, champagne, and sparkling apple cider.
